George Eustice, Member of Parliament for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle has welcomed the news that the Arts Council has made available emergency grant funding to organisations and practitioners as part of the Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund.
£115513 has been awarded to 5 creative practitioners (£33020) and 5 organisations (£82493). Announced in March, the Arts Council’s Emergency Response Fund has been designed to help alleviate the immediate pressures faced by artists, creative practitioners, museums, and libraries over the summer - supporting them as they continue to serve their communities during this crisis and affording them the time to stabilise and plan for the future.
George commented, "This emergency funding is very welcome for those who are experiencing financial hardship as the Coronavirus outbreak continues to effect the country. I am glad that further funding has been made available to these local groups and helping them to stabilise and plan for the future. I will continue to do all that I can to support individuals and organisations, and if you are in particular need, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via email at: [email protected]."
