George Eustice, local MP for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle is today supporting a global awareness campaign encouraging the community to help make the internet a better place.
On Tuesday 5th February 2019, millions across the UK and globally will be celebrating Safer Internet Day. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the day is a great opportunity to talk to family and friends about the respectful, responsible and creative use of technology.
George said, "It's right that on Safer Internet Day, we take the time to think how we can make the internet safer for everyone. Technology and the internet have become an important part of everyday lives for people of all ages and it is right that we work together to create a safer online experience."
