George Eustice has officially opened The Optoelectronic Manufacturing Corporation (UK) Ltd’s (OMC) new factory at Candela House on the Cardrew Industrial Estate, Redruth.
OMC is one of the longest established specialist manufacturers of optoelectronics in Europe, and is a winner of the UK National Electronic Component Award for Innovation. OMC is a pioneer in the development, manufacture and application of cutting-edge LED technologies to the electronics and related industries.
George Eustice said “I am delighted to have opened OMC’s new factory here in Redruth. OMC has an impressive global customer base, and is helping to put our area on the map when it comes to manufacturing. I wish the company the very best of luck for its continued success”.
