George Eustice recently hosted a reception in Parliament to mark the launch of Even Keel in the House of Commons Bar.
Even Keel, which is brewed by Keltek Brewery based in Redruth, has been chosen as the final guest ale in Stranger’s Bar before the end of this parliament and George was joined by several members of Keltek Brewery, along with a number of MPs, including fellow Cornish MP Sheryll Murray, in celebrating its successful launch.
George said “It’s really great to see a local Cornish brewery like Keltek given the opportunity to showcase their products in Parliament. Keltek have other great beers like Lance and Magik which are doing well and it’s great to see a successful brewery back in Redruth."
William Heath of Keltek Brewery said of the visit "We are really privileged that Even Keel was selected for Stranger's Bar as the final beer of this parliament and are delighted to have brought a taste of the West Country to so many Members of Parliament. Our visit to Westminister to celebrate the occasion was definitely a memorable occasion and we are hugely grateful to George Eustice and his team for making this happen and helping to keep Cornwall firmly on the real ale map."
