This week was the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham which marks the end of the conference season. Party conferences are always interesting and this year, George spoke at a number of different events covering topics from animal welfare to the future of agriculture policy post Brexit. One of the positive takeaways from Conference this year was that nearly all of the fringe events were well attended, indeed that is where most members spent most of their time quizzing MPs and other policy experts.
George said, "I had a fantastic time at Party Conference this year speaking at all the different events and meeting members and activists. It was great to see so many people in Birmingham, there was a great buzz about the town as members queued to hear all the different events that were being discussed from Brexit, to the gig economy, to farming and agriculture."
