George Eustice's statement following the recent news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II:
"The death of Her Majesty the Queen is a moment of great sorrow for our country. During her seventy years as monarch, she gave enormous service and commitment to the nation, fulfilling a pledge she made when just 21. She was a constant presence in our national life as so much else changed and she was revered around the world. My thoughts and prayers are with His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness Prince William, who now becomes the Duke of Cornwall, and the whole wider Royal Family."
With a General Election now called and Parliament dissolved, I am no longer the Member of Parliament for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle and this will be my last column in this paper.
