Recently George Eustice, MP for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle took the time to visit Penoweth school to meet teachers and pupils and learn more about the good work that is being done.
Pennoweth School is located at the heart of the community and, as a school aims to be the pride of the whole community by striving to provide the very best education for all children at the school, taught in ever improving facilities and inspiring the children and our community to aim high and reach their full potential.
George said, "Penoweth is a fantastic local school and all who work and teach there should be proud of the impact that they are having on the lives of young people. It was great to be able to catch up with staff and pupils and hear about the work that they are doing and some of the challenges that they are facing. I will continue to work hard to support our local schools and I hope that everyone involved with the school has a good term ahead of them."
