Earlier this week, George Eustice, MP for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle opened new playground equipment at Lanner Primary School following a visit to meet staff and students.
The play equipment were created with natural resources to create natural play areas helping the students reconnect with nature. George took the time to meet students and open the new play area for use.
George said, “It was a real pleasure to visit Lanner Primary School earlier this week to see some of the new playground equipment that has recently been installed. It was clear from the students that they were all very excited about playing with the new natural play areas, helping reconnect younger generations with nature. I am sure that they will be very busy in the remaining school weeks ahead. I would also like to thank the students who took the time to raise their concerns about plastic and the effect that it has on the environment. They raised lots of important points and it was great to see them so enthusiastic about caring or the environment.”
