George Eustice, Member of Parliament for Camborne, Redruth and Hayle is pleased to congratulate the Golden Lion Inn for winning at the Great British Pub Awards.
The Inn- based in Menherion, Redruth- has gone the extra mile in recent months supporting the community and key workers during Lockdown. They donated over 1000 meals to NHS and frontline workers during the Lockdown earlier this year.
Many businesses in Camborne, Redruth and Hayle went beyond what was to be reasonably expected in supporting our key workers. It is very positive for our community that their recent hard work is being recognised.
George said, “It is brilliant news that a local business is being recognised in this way. The work they did during Lockdown and continue to undertake is a great help for the community. I wish them continued success in the future”.
